Children's Sunday School

I was helping out with the Grade 5 Sunday School class again today. I think it was a good experience for the kids, since they had the chance to volunteer with the toddler/pre-kin classes. The little kids had a graduation rehearsal, so the Grade 5's were given the responsibility of accompanying them from basement classroom to the third floor chapel. The toddlers and pre-kin kids were soooo cute, particularly when they started singing their little action songs! I think the girls especially enjoyed the opportunity to hold a tiny kid's hand. Kids need to be given some responsibility once in awhile; it helps them slowly learn what is required of them to grow into mature young adults.
